Maybe Joe's Biden his time for 2012

In case anyone out there thought Senator Joe Biden had any shot at winning the Democratic nomination, much less the presidency, take a look at this gem of a quote about Barack Obama:

"I mean, you've got the first sort of mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy. I mean, that's a story-book, man."

Did he say clean?!? I'm not going to waste any space on what Biden meant to say, because it could not possibly matter less. This is on par with the now infamous "botched joke" of John F-up Kerry. It probably would have been best for Biden to say that the quote was plagiarized from a Neil Kinnock speech, but instead he apologized. Even after the apology, Obama's camp made up this quote for Barack:

"African-American presidential candidates like Jesse Jackson, Shirley Chisholm, Carol Moseley Braun and Al Sharpton gave a voice to many important issues through their campaigns, and no one would call them inarticulate."

Snap! So, in case you didn't already know it, Biden's done. How about an early concession speech, Joe? I hear British politicians are turning some wonderful phrases these days.
